 Hi,
 i had/have lots of problems with pidgin (and all other libpurple based
 clients).
 I had exactlythis problem with pidgin and Zimbra server.

 i first tought that it is a bug in Zimbras Jabber server but it looks like
 that this is an Problem with libpurple based Jabber client.
 If Users have a libpurple client it looks like status changes are not
 spread to other clients.

 Read this:

 But if one of them is using not a libpurple based plugin everthing is
 working fine.

 I tested it with pidgin 2.5.2 and 2.5.4

 Can anyone confirm this?
