 Since upgrading to pidgin 2.5.2 in Ubuntu 8.10, Pidgin has crashed
 frequently while chatting with MSN contacts.  I also use XMPP, and have no
 problems when chatting with XMPP contacts.  The crashes tend to happen
 after periods of inactivity.  So for example, if I start pidgin, and
 immediately start chatting with an MSN contact, everything is fine.  If I
 go away for a few minutes, come back, and send another message, it
 crashes.  If I start a new chat with an MSN contact a while after pidgin
 has started, sometimes it will crash, sometimes it won't.  I have attached
 a backtrace.
