 I'm running 2.5.4 on a fresh install of ubuntu 8.10. I added a Yahoo
 account to pidgin. It is able to connect and query the budy list however
 it never shows myself or my buddies online. I can see the list of my
 buddies offline but no one ever shows online and none of my friends can
 see me as being online. I was able to get one message through to a friend
 who appeared offline and I appeared offline. however the friend was not
 able to respond back. I can't find anyone who has had this issue. I was
 running 2.5.2 but I installed 2.5.4 hoping that it might fix it.
