 After the window gets filled with a bit of chat, I've noticed that when I
 type a message, it will not appear in the window until I click inside the
 chat messages area or receive a message from the other person.  I am
 guessing it's not refreshing the area after a message is sent is the only
 guess I have at this time.  I have set the component to Yahoo since I
 mainly use this and this is where I noticed this behavior; however, it may
 affect more than just this component.
