 Hi!

This is just a little suggestion for a future Version.
Since Pidgin is a multiprotocoll, multifunctioning great communication
app, i realy miss one old standard protocol... SMTP

 The Idea:
Sometimes people id like to reach are not online OR i just want to drop a
single line to one of them either Online or Offline (eMail).

So..why dont add SMTP to Pidgin protocolls and make it possible to drop a
simple eMail to one of our contacts on the list?? I am not talking about
MAPI or fireing up an full blown email client. No! I just would like to
get a small message window where i can put a small text and let it go
THROUGH SMTP to my contact (or some other Mailbox address). of Course,
SMTP-AUTH and SMTPS must be supported for authentication.

It also should then be possible to create additional Contact-List entries
that ONLY belongs to eMail Addresses (no ICQ, IRC and so on...). Like
special team-mailboxes or something like that.

Wouldnt this be a Cool Feature ?

And it should not be too much work for you guys since SMTP is no rocket-
sience and there are plenty of libs and functions that can handle it.

What do YOU say about this feature ?
