 This is almost certainly a bug in either gtkspell, enchant, hunspell, or
 simply a configuration/metadata problem with your dictionary (or
 dictionary installation).

 You can try filing a bug with your distribution (after checking for any
 existing bug and/or available update) and see if they have anything tosay
 about this.
