 The fact that you can use the Gmail web interface to chat with your Google
 Talk buddies is *not* an indication that Google talk supports a specific
 HTTP tunneled protocol. All it intidcates is that when using the web
 interface you are using HTTP to talk to the Gmail server which then
 handles your Google Talk connection for you. That being said, if your work
 simply blocks non-HTTP ports simply changing the ports pidgin tries to use
 to connect may be enough to get Google Talk to work in pidgin.
