 Merkaba, if your issue is like that of anoftc in that it is simply listing
 the files in the directory which is slow then there isn't much that pidgin
 can do about it short of being changed to write fewer log files. If your
 issue is unrelated to a general slowness in listing files in the directory
 and if your log directory is on a local disk then yes, you can file a
 separate ticket on that.
