 I'm on Ubuntu 8.10. Pidgin 2.5.2 from Ubuntu repository connects fine.
 Pidgin 2.5.4 from http://www.getdeb.net/app/Pidgin exhibits
 {{{1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number}}} problem.
