 Nop, the problem is still there. To try what I am saying do the following:

 Send yourself an e-mail. (or wait one :P)
 Wait the report on the top of the buddy list.
 Disconnect that account
 Reconnect it
 Now open the report
 and try to open both links to the mailbox

 One will crash the client. It is similar to the #8240 but in this case
 pidgin crash.

 I wouldn't have found this bug if my ISP didn't work sooooo bad :(
