Comment:

 Are you running any sort of firewalls, proxies, IM firewalls, or anti-
 virus software? The debug logs appear to indicate that something is
 interfering with your connection to the (at least AIM/ICQ) servers.

 The crash in your pidgin.RPT file is one of the crashes related to #5662.
