 I am currently developing a perl plugin for pidgin. It uses "timeout" to
 periodically update the information fetched from the internet. After
 adding some code on it, pidgin crashes every single time at starting
 period with this plugin default on.

 I've tried to remedy this problem, and commented out several lines of code
 to prevent it from crashing. The patch of this code is also attached, and
 it does avoid the crashing. The lines have been commented out involve
 calling Purple::timeout_remove(). I guess it may be an issue.
