 The status of the 'Show Detailed Information' setting should not change
 the window icon, if it does that something is broken and needs to be
 fixed.

 I agree that we should be correctly saturating the window and tab icons
 for offline and idle the same as we do in the buddy list.

 We have moved away from badges (as we used to have them) because they are
 visually complex and hard to decipher, especially at smaller sizes.
