 2.5.2 introduced support for custom emoticons in XMPP. Because of certain
 limitations, we need the conversation "open" in order to get them on it.
 This is the same bug as #4551 on MSN. I don't know whether we need to fix
 GtkIMHtml or purple_conversation_new, or something else in Pidgin.
