 The Help page of the site lists both the pidgin irc channel and the
 support mailing list. The PidginCommunity section of the FAQ lists both of
 those resources as well as the devel at conference.pidgin.im MUC room and the
 devel mailing list. And the Development wiki lists both the
 PidginCommunity page and the mailing lists page.

 I'll grant you none of those are immediately on the main pidgin.im front
 page, but they aren't exactly hard to find either.

 The MUC room is likely your best bet if you really just need to find
 someone specific, the irc channel is next best if you just need devel
 talk, and the devel mailing list is next for more lengthy devel
 discussion.
