 When you paste from a location that contains (html) formatting pidgin
 attempts to paste with the formatting intact. If you do not like or want
 this you can right-click and select 'Paste as Plain Text' to paste
 unformatted text or hit ctrl-r after you paste normally to revert all
 formatting back to your defaults.
