 I have an issue with the persistent chat feature pertaining to AIM chats.

 It usually happens as follows:

 1. Join a chat that's been added to the contact list.
 2. Set the chat as persistent.
 3. Close the chat window.
 4. Open the chat window.

 Upon opening the chat window again, I am shown to have left the chatroom.
 However, I can still chat and respond to messages as normal for a short
 time, until which time I am disconnected from chat and have to close the
 window and reopen it to reconnect.

 I've tried disabling my plugins to see if this rectifies the issue, as
 well as restarting the client and reinstalling it. None of these work.
