 > That debug log makes it quite clear that the domain for your XMPP
 account does not have the proper DNS SRV records configured.  In this
 case, you probably need to set the connect server on the account editor's
 advanced tab to `talk.google.com`.

 I hadn't even realized that the advanced tab existed. That fixed it...
 weird how I didn't have to set it manually in Vista though. Glad it was a
 simple fix, thanks!
