 OS: opensuse 11.1 x64, Gnome 2.24.1

 When a pidgin try to connect a crash happens. I tried with empty profile
 and with profile contains gtalk settings.

 Computer is behind of proxy. Proxy settings sets by gconf. By default
 pidgin try to connect using Gnome proxy settings. If I change proxy to
 manual and set the same settings Pidgin works.

 A log with debug info was included
