 There is still weird behavior in 2.5.4.
 After I close a chat window, and then immediately click and open a new
 chat window with the same person it scrolls back to some place.
 I remember that before it also happened when the other person was starting
 a new chat. This seems fixed now, BUT the problem above still remains
