 Sorry, I meant respond with thoughts after the youtube vid, which you've
 done, and I thank you for it.

 How about this:  I will do everything in my power to recreate this on my
 work computer which doesn't do this by toying around with the IME's or
 something... and report back.  If I succeed, how about I write a step-by-
 step process so that he can recreate it and see it for himself?  Do I
 still have a glimmer of hope?
