 I have about 13 IM accounts, 12 active generally in Pidgin..

 Going to the "Buddies" menu in the contact list screen, and then selecting
 "View User Log" brings up a dialog where one can start typing a contact's
 name in the "Name" field and it'll hint as to what it thinks the answer
 is.

 I have several IM accounts which have overlap with similar addresses (Ie.
 where a user might have an XMPP and an {insert name du jour} Passport
 account with the same address and where I might have work, personal and
 monitoring system IM accounts)

 It would be nice if the search hints could perhaps hint to which IM
 account a given log collection suggestion belongs.

 At the moment, one has to select a suggestion, then see which IM account
 the program selects in the next field, "Account".

 I've got about 340MB of chat logs, so anything that makes them easier to
 go through is a good thing :)
