 mxit.co.za contacts on gtalk are supported. Service used to work just fine
 for a long time.
 Mxit application works fine, directly.
 Pidgin gtalk/jabber/xmpp/whatever works 50% of the time. Rest of the time
 error is...

 It is possibly Mxit is at fault. (perhaps gmail but i doubt it).
 If mxit is at fault, is there no way pidgin's gtalk/jabber/xmpp can work
 around it? Also, what exactly is it that they are at fault for (presuming
 it is their fault)

 Possibly timing out while looking for mxit server? Perhaps a way to
 increase lookup timeout? DNS issues with Mxit?
 Just Brainstorming.
