I don't know if 'defect' is a fair classification for this, but here goes;
I have several AIM screen names, and to double check that I was invisible
to the people I blocked I tested it:
I blocked screen name B on computer 1;
I then moved over to computer 2 and signed in to screen name B, and could
still see screen name A, and when I messaged it, they went through to
computer 1.
These computers are on the same router/modem, so they have the same global
IP I guess, which I suppose could cause trouble, but I'm no coding wizard,
I'm lucky to be able to deal with simple LISP tasks.
Both computers are running XP Pro and pidgin 2.5.4.
Thanks!
[Edit]- I blocked one of my friends not in the same state, let alone
subnet or whatever, and she was still able to see/message me, so it's not
that. Ideas?
Thanks!
