 I'm also having the same issue.  Just restarted already up to 66 meg for
 the Working Set (Memory) on  Windows Task Manager.  I caught it at 140 meg
 a couple days ago.  Just restarted it, same column shows 30 meg.

 Vista SP1 x86.

 Yahoo, AIM, XMPP, ICQ configured but not logged in (too much spam)

 No wallpaper changing app.

 Enable plugins:
 Conversation Colors, History, Message Notification, Windows Pidgin Options
