 I'm using the newest Pidgin version with KDE 4.2.0 on Arch Linux (32-bit).

 I'm german and I'm using a specialized keyboard layout for the german
 language called NEO-Layout, it's something similar to the better known
 dvorak-layout, just for the german language.

 For a couple of months I'm having problems with some shortcuts. For
 example: My keyboard layout has the 'v' where normal layouts have the 'w'.
 So instead of inserting the clipboard content the current chat window gets
 closed which is very annoying.

 Most shortcuts work, I could only find one other shortcut which
 misbehaves. If I type strg+i the "Get Info" window pops up, which actually
 have the hotkey strg+o. The funny thing is, that my 'i' is your 's' and
 that my strg+o also works for "Get Info".

 I've also tried the dvorak layout and some shortcuts. And there is a
 misbehaviour with strg+u which starts the search instead of underlining
 the selected text, and on the dvorak layout 'u' is on the position of the
 normal 'f'.

 If using linux you can easily switch the current keyboard layout in the
 systemsettings, so you can check it yourself - if it's not just my
 problem.

 I don't really know how long I've been experiencing this problem, at least
 I know that it still worked with Pidgin 2.5.1 and KDE 3.5.
 But all other programs are working fine with KDE 4.2 - qt and gtk apps.
