 The solution as presented in #7901 is to wait for pidgin 2.5.4 to be
 released (planned for Thursday of this week). This crash does appear to be
 the same one as in that ticket. If, once you have upgraded to 2.5.4, you
 still have a crash you can request that this ticket be re-opened when you
 post a new crash report.
