In XP Pro, after pidgin 2.5.3 and also earlier versions have been running
a few days, when clicking a URL I get the error "There is not enough free
memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs and try again." Yet
I can run "firefox google.com" from start/run and everything else works
fine. Also, if I restart pidgin it works again. Also, even if I do quit
several large programs, pidgin will continue to give the error until it's
restarted. Note Pidgin's memory size is 150MB with 500 handles, 25
threads, and 486 GDI objects. The debug log says: winpidgin: Error
opening URI: http://xkcd.com/208/ error: 8 I've attached the entire
 debug log.

Also, the ability to "copy link location" or copy any text works exactly
once after that, so it's a restart or type URLs.

Pidgin has been running 5.5 days. (I recall this problem has been around
a very long time, but for months until recently I've had notify.dll
enabled so pidgin didn't last 5 days.)

copy/paste DOES work WITHIN pidgin, but it only clears the clipboard from
 any other applications perspective.
