 when i set the startup status it will always become to "online" (or
 available)...

 i also took a look in the code because i was interested and came across
 gtkprefs.c, line 2055, where the function set_startupstatus calls
 purple_prefs_set_int(), first parameter "/purple/savedstatus/startup",
 second parameter, and this is what i don't understand...
 purple_savedstatus_get_creation_time(status), creation time?!
 would be nice if someone could explain this to me since i'm very
 interested in the pidgin source code and i would like to know more about
 it...
