For years, my friends and I have been using the same AIM chat room, but
tonight, I've been unable to enter the room. When I look in the debug
window, I see the following text:

(00:15:11) oscar: Attempting to join chat room baenbarchat.
(00:15:11) oscar: chatnav exists, creating room
 (00:15:11) oscar: created room: baenbarchat 5 0 68 1231740918 512 38 1 22
 baenbarchat !aol://2719:10-5-baenbarchat
(00:15:11) oscar: snac threw error (reason 0x000d: Request denied)

and sometimes I get this instead:
(00:15:39) oscar: Attempting to join chat room baenbarchat.
(00:15:39) oscar: chatnav exists, creating room
