 In Windows Live Messenger, you can set up your own personal message that
 will appear next to your nickname on your friend's contact list and on top
 of the conversation window. A couple of days ago, a friend of mine was
 advertising a product he sells using his personal message, and Pidgin was
 displaying it on the conversation window next to his nickname as it
 should. However, he changed the personal message yesterday but Pidgin
 still shows the old one. In Windows Live Messenger, the personal message
 updates instantly. I noticed this problem on Windows and I don't know if
 it also happens on other platforms.
