 In Pidgin 2.5.4, the Sametime functionality I believe has a flaw.  The
 original Sametime Connect always shows you the proper name (ex. Derek
 Thatcher) of a user if they send you a message and they are '''NOT''' on
 your buddy list.  In Pidgin, if they are not on your buddy list you get
 the LDAP information (ex. uid=derekv6,o=Users,DC=HOME,DC=COM) and Get Info
 only displays this as well.  If you do a User Search by proper name it
 will find them properly and you can add them with the proper name as the
 Alias.  Only then will the proper name of the user be displayed in the
 Conversation window.  Is it possible for Pidgin to query the Sametime
 server defined in the client settings for the proper name for the
 conversation Window for non-buddied users?  Is this something that can be
 achieved in Pidgin with the current Meanwhile libraries?

 This would be a feature that would truly mimic Sametime Connect client
 behavior in Pidgin.  Thanks in advance!
