#8218: Pidgin hangs for few seconds when opening a conversation window

 When I try to open a new conversation window, or when a conversation
 window open because someone sent me a message, all pidgin windows are not
 responding for a few seconds.
 This is not a major bug, but it is very annoying.

 My operation system is Fedora 10 (64bits).
