 I've built win32 version
 [http://files.riden.net.ru/pidgin-2.5.4-patched/pidgin-2.5.4-win32-patched-2009-01-23.exe]
 with patch [http://developer.pidgin.im/attachment/ticket/8198/pidgin-NOT-
 UPSTREAM-2.5.4-icq-russia.patch]. It works well as clean install and can
 be our problem on a first-time connection, if there was some pidgin
 installation in os.

 I've also tried this patch and NightFox's patch on a Slackware 12.2, both
 work well. I will produce slackware package soon.
