 When I wrote it, I considered it a request for an enhancment. Somebody
 else placed the same request for enhancement before, but it was turned
 down since there is a workaround for it. I thought it makes sense to re-
 iterate the request for this enhancement, since the workaround is not
 really usable. But of course, since I neither intend to pay for it nor to
 develop it myself, it's really not my decision whether this enhancement
 gets done or not.

 Since this was the first ticket for pidgin I created, I don't really know
 much about creating tickets for pidgin. The status that you set (pending)
 sound good to me, however. I'll try to keep in mind that this status is to
 be set on new tickets upon creation.
