#8244: Pidgin misbehaves when using deadkeys (e.g. US International keyboard
layout)

I'm using the "US International" keyboard layout under Windows Vista.
In this keyboard layout, the apostrophe key (') plus a produces "รก".
However, apostrophe plus, for example, "s" DOES NOT produce an s with
acute accent. It produces apostrophe-s.
Pidgin behaves differently from all other Windows applications in that it
produces an s with acute. I don't want that. I'm used to typing
apostrophe+s to get apostrophe+s.
Pidgin should at least offer an option to disable this non-standard
behaviour. However, I'd even recommend to have it off by default. Behaving
differently from every other application is never good (it violates the
principle of least surprise).
