 Platform: RHEL 5.3 64-bit. libpurple 2.5.8.
 Steps to re-produce:
 1) Allow pidgin to run for a while, with an IM session window open
 2) Hover the mouse pointer over one of the contacts in the contact list
 3) Pidgin crashes while attempting to display the tool-tip containing the
 contact's user details (picture etc).
