 A week ago I have upgraded to version 2.5.8 and since then Yahoo connects,
 and I can see all the buddies, but I can neither send nor receive any
 messages.

 Prior to the upgrade Yahoo connection and messages were working fine.  I
 only upgraded because of the warning message that Yahoo connection will
 stop working in August.
