 I believe this ticket has been out of date for approximately a year.
 There were a number of issues with our buddy list handling related to the
 yahoo servers sending the list to us in multiple packets.  We were not
 handling this properly, but have since updated our yahoo protocol plugin
 to fix this problem.  Pidgin 2.5.8 should solve this problem for you.
