Comment:

 Plugins will be loaded correctly across OSes as long as the plugins exist
 on all affected OSes.  This was fixed some time ago.  As for the system-
 dependent paths, splitting these out into OS-specific XML files is really
 overkill.  I don't really see a reason to do anything about this.
