 If userXX starts a conference and userYY joins, all is well.  If userYY
 invites userZ, userXX receives a message indicating userZ was invited but
 userXX's pidgin client interprets this message as an invitation for
 userXX.

 Attached is debug output from pidgin and tcpdump which should help
 illustrate what's going on.

 Also attached is a patch to fix this bug.
