Comment:

 This doesn't work in EP because of a bug in GTK+ so there's no way to
 offer this functionality in Pidgin either until it is fixed upstream.
 This is literally as simple as calling the "set_skip_taskbar_hint"
 function in GTK.  A bug could be filed upstream accordingly.
