 After looking at the packet capture and the debug log, there appears no
 reason for me to believe that your message wasn't sent. Though it would
 have shown in the log, still you might want to check the privacy settings
 (Tools > Privacy).

 You can add your own id as a buddy and try to send message to it and see
 if it returns. Provide debug log and packet capture from the same, if you
 want me to take a look.

 Does the official client work fine ?
