 From talking with chemistrydioxide, it sounds like what's going on is that
 buddies who were on his contact list when he was using the gevolution
 plugin keep sending (to all his accounts) authorization requests. To me,
 this sounds like the XMPP server at the other end is helpfully re-
 requesting authorization a lot.

 chemistrydioxide suggests it might be when they log into XMPP in the first
 place.

 At this point, I think the question is, is the adding of buddies to every
 account a bug in the gevolution plugin or a bug in evolution?

 Not using either, I personally have no idea.
