Comment:

 Per #8556 (and some mailing list threads from two (or three?) summers ago
 that I can't find right now), there's no way to validate the certificate
 for google.com properly, because we don't rely on the unsecure SRV records
 for what to use as the certificate CN.

 Maiku: If you're still getting this error, IM me (or file a new ticket
 with the debug log showing the information about the certificate as
 printed by nss/gnutls)
