Old description:

New description:

 Tested on Windows XP/Vista/7

 Writing two ^ outputs only one ^ instead of ^^, therefor I have to write
 "^^^^" or "^ ^ " to get the ^^-grin-smiley. That goes only for pidgin.
 That bug is so annoying, I once stopped to use pidgin.
 I had a discussion in your IRC channel, two others recognized the bug. One
 said it has to do with GTK+ on Windows with a german keyboard.
 I hope you are able to fix that, that would be so nice!}}}
