This may be a duplicate of #9021, but it's still broken in 2.5.8, and that
ticket's old and closed, so I'm submitting a new one.
I have a contact that always, for some reason, appears 'blocked' in Pidgin
(pop-up text says 'Blocked: Yes', but the icon does not show for some
reason). This contact IS NOT blocked in any of the other MSN clients I
use (such as aMSN, and the official client). Every time I start up
Pidgin, I get this message in the debug log...
"User XXXXX at hotmail.com is on both Allow and Block list; removing from
Allow list."
despite the fact that I had already unblocked it in a previous Pidgin
session (before a log-off/log-on to MSN), and also despite the fact that
the contact is NOT blocked in any other MSN client.
This bug occurs in the latest 2.5.8 version. In the previous version
(~2.5.2), I kept getting annoying "241 errors - name changes too fast..."
Below is the debug log following that MSN error...
{{{
