 Hmm, I thought I had commented on this before.  I have reviewed this
 patch.  Perhaps we discussed it on IRC?

 I spent some time looking at the Tcl API to see if I could figure out how
 to prevent it from installing that exit handler, and didn't see an
 immediate solution.  This patch is not really a fix to the problem, so I
 hate to see it go in.  I did not mean to let it sit this long, though.
