 Sulabh made changes that mean the user isn't presented with a chat
 invitation when the invitation is directed to a third-party, so the rest
 of the scenario shouldn't be possible and it should be fixed.

 That said, if this still exists once 2.6.0 is released, please comment (or
 file a new ticket) and we'll re-open this.
