 The default /list command on IRC is very bare-bones, many networks provide
 advanced listing services/capabilities for exactly this usage.

 Filtering the entire list client side is less than helpful (since it will
 still flood you off the network for large channel lists).

 The /help for list specifically does not mention that you can supply any
 data and the room list dialog support inline type-ahead find for quickly
 searching/jumping to a specific room.

 I'm going to leave this at patches welcome, but the patch would have to be
 rather compelling fo convince me it was worth it (especially given the
 flood issue).
